Enhanced audio device handling

Start on your iPhone mic, pop in your AirPods, plug in a headset. Cleft 1.9 switches between them seamlessly while you record, so changing devices never costs you a word.

Microphone indicator

No more guessing which mic is live. A new indicator shows your current audio input device while you record, so you always know where your voice is going.

Push notifications for interruptions

Calls and alarms happen. Cleft now sends a push notification when something interrupts your recording, so you find out right away instead of discovering a cut-short note later.

Also in this release

• Optimized Whisper model. It now loads after recording starts, which improves performance on older devices.
• Editor improvements. More line height for easier reading and editing.
• Cleaner delete. Removing the note you are viewing now takes it off screen right away. Thanks, Vince!
