01: Typed notes

Start writing when voice is not the right tool.

Long-press New Note on iPhone or iPad to start a typed note right away. Save stays legible, and your text stays editable until you save or discard it.

02: Audio

Playback has the recording it needs.

Voice notes keep their audio after they sync, so playback and audio export stay available instead of leaving you with the transcript alone.

  • Synced audio stays. Playback and export keep working.
  • Background recordings finish. A recording started in the background picks back up when you return.
  • Mac loading state. Play tells you when audio is getting ready.

03: Mac

Menus open cleanly the first time.

Send and More open at full size on the first click, with native menu labels, cleaner dismissal, and tooltips for note actions.

  • Cleft accent. Settings and What's New keep the warm Cleft color. Interface
